Citizens Advice International is an umbrella organisation set up in March 2004 and representing the interests of advice giving bodies throughout the world. 5 April 2006 its General Assembly met in Warsaw.
To celebrate the second anniversary the organisation's existence, Citizens Advice International launched its new website. The project is to become a quality signposting tool for all those looking for impartial, confidential and free advice and information about their rights.
"Citizens Advice International reaches the citizens all over the world. We are very involved in supporting and promoting free and impartial advice. We hope that our attempt to develop the world's map of "advice services" will allow us to strengthen our cooperation with organisations
contributing to advancement of the civil society" - said Dorian Filote, CAI Chairman.
