On 24.10.2007 there took place the conference "Integration of activities for the benefit of Polish economic emigration to Ireland" organised by CAB.
Purpose of the conference was to create a platform of communication which would enable institutions and organisations supporting emigrants to streghten their cooperation. It was specially devoted to actions directed at Polish emigration to Ireland, which rose dramatically in the last few years.
The participants were Ambassador or Ireland in RP, Consul of RP in Ireland, Polish Commissioner for Civil Rights Protection, representatives of Polish and Irish government, Polish Eures group and Polish and Irish non-governmental organisations acting for the benefit of Poles emigrating to the Green Island.

Commissioner for Civil Rights Protection and the Embassy of Ireland in RP took the conference under their patronage.
"Rzeczpospolita", the nation-wide daily, gave the event media patronage.

The conference brought closer acquintance of the institutions and organisations helping Poles emigrating to Ireland for economic purposes to pull themselves together in the new reality and to prepare themselves before depart, identification of the fields of cooperation and relating concrete ideas.

The conference was financed by the EU in the framework of Transition Facility 2004 "Increasing social consciousness and strenthening the role of non-governmental organisations in the field of advocacy and monitoring".
