Network development
This part of UCAB’s activity concentrates mainly on maintaining continues contact with existing CABs and also on supporting and encouraging new, well established NGOs which have personnel, financial and technical bases to set up and run a Bureau. We care about the quality of CABs’ services. Therefore we have tightened up the accession criteria for new organisations so that we can fulfil our standards. The work on the quality of CAB’ service is being developed through visiting CABs, introducing practice training for new CABs, organising meetings of CABs’ managers and integration meetings. At present our priority is to enlarge the number of CABs particularly in those voivodships where there is no CABs and in the regions with high level of unemployment and vulnerable people. The next basic task is to continue our activities on improvement of quality of CABs work, services and reduce differences among our centres.
